This notice is to inform you that your hosting service will be affected by maintenance being performed by the datacenter engineers. Details of the maintenance are below.
Date: Thursday, November 8th, 2007
Time: 2:00 AM - 5:00 AM Pacific time
Scope: Transport circuit reconfiguration Los Angeles Datacenter
Maintenance description:
LA datacenter engineers will be moving several transport circuits to a new switch in the LAX03 data center. This work is part of a network upgrade plan to replace several old routers with modern Cisco equipment to significantly increase network stability and capacity.
Service impact:
Some of the transport circuits involved are carrying IP transit traffic, including our main inbound path through Mzima Networks. Traffic will be rerouted in advance to minimize disruptions, but some flaps are unavoidable. Customers can expect partial connectivity for a period of less than 30 minutes during the 3 hour maintenance window.
Servers will not lose power or be rebooted during this maintenance.
